Molly,

With all due respect, can you live with yourself if this dog maims or kills a child? I know I couldn't. END OF STORY.

I watched the first part of " day one". The dog looked like a real beast of a killer with that kid. Euthanize? Seriously? That dog looks like a cupcake.

Right, Chaz.  the dog is not a monster.  I felt she could be rehabbed, and placed in the right home.  Or maybe Tim will keep her.  I just couldn't adopt her out because of her biting.  I think I made the right decision for the dog.   Creating drama for the sake of drama (maim or kill a child, come on give me a break) - well that is the purpose of this forum isn't it?  no surprise even coming from an admin.

You wrote it.

"He knew she was a biter and NOT good with children and I made that very clear to him."

Does anyone have pictures or video of Helser actually abusing a dog?  I've never seen any proof of it.

I don't agree with Tim's handling the dog in the first day he had her.  He knew she was a biter and NOT good with children and I made that very clear to him.  I told him to give her time to adjust and bond with long walks and treats and just leaving her alone for a few weeks.  He disregarded my advice and made those videos in the first day he had her - I told him I did not approve and thought the "handling" video was terrible, and traumatic to the dog.  But alas it was his dog then, and whatever he had to prove by doing these things in the first day he had her - didn't impress me as I guess he hoped it would.

Ok, with all due respect, in one vein you say you want proof,
but then turn around and comment that the handling he made
the dog submit to was 'terrible and traumatic to the dog'?

It's been proven more times than not, that where there is
smoke there is fire. Do you not remember the woman
who purchased that dog Tas? And how she had to go pick
her dog up, and take him to a vet because he was so SICK?

A simple search of that shitbag's name on this board will
provide anyone with more than enough reading material,
and none of it is good. cheeky

Pontius Pilate, suck it up and euth the dog if you think that's what it needs. If it's unadoptable, then don't adopt it out. Surely, though, even if the dog was unadopatable (and I'm not saying she isn't/wasn't), she didn't deserve to be thrust off onto the first derelict who offered to take her.
Hey, but at least you did the right thing and found her a home, right? Better than dead? You can rest easy, knowing the dog is in good hands. I mean, we haven't really seen any PROOF that any dogs have been abused, have we? cheeky

Euthasia may be kind, and it may be the right thing to do.......but, it is expensive.

Tim Helser took the dog for free.

Money is very important.

What ever happened to that Ayla ? The first 24 hour video said January. I'd like to see a recent video. Or how did she turn out ?
