You are so wrong, if we didn't care we wouldn't spend 1000s of hours working on pedigrees. 

Now it has morphed into multiple pedigrees? Do you want me to ban a member for changing a pedigree, once?

the suspense is killing me, you can tell who changes stuff as in traceablet? please post the changer's name or pm me, i am intigued by all this in a gossipy kind of way.

How many pedigrees does a person have to change until it is considered multiple?

They changed five different pedigrees (all related to each other) in one day, and this does not concern you???

When did I ever ask you to Ban them or anyone else?????

In my PM to you, I said deal with them as you deem necessary.

I really don't know what people expect the admins/mods to do...this isn't exactly Fort Knox. It's an online database. It's similar to the MLS- information is considered reliable but not guaranteed...they do the best they can. 

Peds should never be locked, things can change over the life of the dogs and as Jenn said  no dog is an island,I see it as impossible task for moderators to be the sole cop on the beat and verify the millions of bits of information on this site, I do think they are concerned and they do the best they can and a system is in place where anyone can see the changes made on anyones dogs ped if they have a issue with the changes that were made,some people are only trying to help others in having more complete and accurite Ped., most are not altering in a bad way,If I see a dog missing a title that has been dead for a long time am I wrong for wanting to add their missing work title,who knows maybe the owner of the dog is also dead and they are not able to add more complete facts to the dogs ped themselves.

I really really do not like this at all and this would P me O big time;  is this NOT private and personal property??

The facts are;

1 - GSD admin was sent a PM to make them aware of what had occurred as I believe they have expressed interest in the past in knowing such things.

2- I never asked for any action on their part, my exact words were " Feel free to deal with this matter in any way you deem reasonable"

3. A PM was sent to the person who made the unauthorized alteration of our Dogs pedigree (prior to this post) and I have still not received a reply.

4- I created this thread to have it on record for anyone doing their Research, and who may be misled in to making a decision based on the unauthorized alteration of our dogs pedigree.

5- Why is the person who, without our permission altered our dogs pedigree not speaking up?

I did not "Morph" this thread........the person/persons responsible need to accept responsibility for their actions and speak up.

This IS a FREE database...you want locked, personal data, you're going to have to pay. Agree w/Bundishep. There are many legitimate reasons to change/add data. 90% are not malicious. 

GSDLineage recently added Aria's OFA numbers to her pedigree. I guess I ought to be furious! LOL

There probably are, but this was not a legitimate reason was it?

Maybe the persons who....again...without our Authorization Altered our Dogs Pedigree will speak up for themselves.

Probably not going to happen though hu? They must have too much Integrity to speak for themselves.

Must be nice to be able to screw around with another persons dogs pedigree and then sit back and let others defend their actions!!
