Alexis, I guess the picture really proves nothing,I would think that before you sent your bitch to me to be bred that we would have developed some kind of bond/trust or why would you have sent the bitch in the first place? The only sure way it to be present at the breeding,I mayself would rather it happen that way to be honest with youLess work on my part,I'm looking at maybe a half hour as opposed to going to the airport, picking up your dog,not every bitch sent is always 100% happy with her owner arranged marriage, their is always the risk of my dog getting hurt or bit,I don't have to care or feed for your dog while we wait for the second breeding and then it is back to the airport to send her back to you.....Might sound like easy money but if you think about it there is a lot more to it then just covering your bitch and sending her home pregnant. If you are in that much doubt about what MIGHT or MIGHT NOT go on while your not there then you should follow your gut instinct and not use that stud dog.Beleive it or not there are still honest people with ethics left in this world, you just might have to dig a little deeper to find us.......

Charlie, I would hope that MOST breeders out there are ethical and honest. As many people have read here and run into on their own, we all know that there are a few out there just to make a buck. They may be excellent sales people too, so you would never think of them as unethical until something bad came into play. There are those people sending dogs to Germany to be bred because of a dogs reputation without ever seeing the dog in person, so how is a pictures supposed to prove much? So two dogs were bred. This doesn't ensure the breeding is going to take. It's been a long time since I was involved with the Am Bred world, so maybe someone can refresh my memory of the whole Andretti mess. Wasn't he the one that was behind much of the DNA testing in the US? Wasn't Andretti's owner breeding the females to an Andretti relative as opposed to Andretti? And look at the highly rated dogs in Germany that DNA proved them to have the wrong parents on their original pedigrees. A picture of a breeding won't change the fact that Leif von der Noriswand (and then involving Hill and Hajo von der Noriswand), Enco vom Yohaness Berg, Dorijan vom Yohaness Berg, and maybe others I'm not remembering right now were not out of the parents they were originally said to be out of. All of these dogs were highly rated at Sieger Shows in Germany before it was found out their DNA did not match their pedigrees. I'm not saying there are more dishonest breeders out there than honest ones. I know the honest ones outnumber the dishonest ones by many times. It's the few not so honest ones that can ruin many people's experiences within the breed, and that's just a shame. Picture or no picture.......
