Hello  Jim

I have read your post again and it does suggest that,  hearsay is enough proof for the likes of Pencil and then my name in brackets.  By putting my name in brackets it can suggest that Pencil and I are one and the same.  It can also suggest that for me "hearsay" is sufficient proof.   That is simply not true.

With regard to my comment on one of my first show experiences I do not think that my reference to an "apprenticeship"  vindicates Pencil's case in general terms.   The experience that I had is a true story and the judge concerned has long since passed away.   The fact that at this time it cannot be proven does not  mean that it is untrue.
I stand by my comments in the first post that I made on this subject.   There are still around people who will remember the past, however distant, who saw it going on and some even participating.

I am not saying that cheating does not go on of course it does(human nature i'm afraid) what i am saying is it is not as bad as the likes of pencil want us to believe again i did not say that you lied Mackenzie what i said is it can not be proved so there for hearsay    you may not think it vindicate's pencil but he sure does as for the cheating the best way to combat it is what i have said before if you think a judge has not been judging correctly or face judging or favour judging DO NOT ENTER UNDER THAT JUDGE AGAIN tell your club and speak to others if they feel the same tell them to instruct there club not to give this person any more appointments if this is done properly under the proper channels then before long we will have honestjudges at all our shows

Paulo, i think there are more judges than you think with the integrity to do exactly what you hypothesize. It is so easy to tar everybody with the same brush,  please , dont fall into the same trap as some of the posters on this site, everybody is entitled to their opinion, and i will defend that right with all my heart and strength, unfortunately, some people are confusing generalisations and absolute facts, which as you probably know, is a recipe for disaster.

   Kind Regards.

Paul Rattigan.

Top 4 kennels who charge daft amounts of money for an 8 week old pup. How this can be justified I'd love to know. Some people must have more money then sense that's for sure.

Paulo - I couldnt agree more with what you have said and I'm sorry Paulie, you know in your heart of hearts it is true. Ok so maybe you wouldnt behave in such a way but I know most of the judges would. It's sad but very true

Paulie, I hope you're right, of course I don't know how every judge would turn, but a couple of examples,a few years ago I saw the most succesful dog in the breed, and it's handler, practically run into the ground by a judge before he put a dog that would gait longer into first place, a little later a very nice import at his first UK show only made 2nd or 3rd I think, soon afterwards when the dog was "known" it was made up in no time, both these cases involved judges that are honest enough I think but it shows that judges here aren't accountable to anyone.

no question about it - dogs bred by a judge are not allowed by KC  to be shown under them full stop.
