Absolutely purebred GSD. Many people uneducated on the breed seem to think sables are part wolf. Ask anyone you know who owns a sable, they've probably been asked at least a few times. Handsome too.

She is turning into quite a beauty.  She is 100% shepherd.

But, something happened.  Her ears have shrunk!

Enjoy her puppyhood, soon it will be over.

Why the big rope? And what country do you live in? Of course the dog is a GSD. If you are not sure and that is what you wanted, why would you take him? Make sure you socialize and train him. He can chew through that rope in 2 minutes should he decide to do so.

Thanks again for all your inputs!
BTW, I am living in Hangzhou, China. That big rope is just used to protect my kid sometime, most of time I never use it. In order to take these photoes for him, I had to do that, SORRY! Actually it's useless, he chewed it for several times. Anyway I love my boy and enjoy him!

Best Regards,
John

nice looking boy, but my only concern, which may be nothing at all, is that he's front legs look a little bowed.  how is his diet?  could just be how he is sitting, but looks like he is knuckling over on his front feet.

BTW, I see some sea salt mix buckets in the background.  do you have salt water aquariums?

by CongCong on 04 January 2011 - 13:01

Hi, Uber Land,

I think your concern is reasonable, but fortunately that's not true I think. I guess that's caused by his unnatural poses in the pictures because my boy got a little bit nervous when my brother was taking photoes for us. And I used to feed him chicken, fish and rice, twice a day. I have no salt water aquariums, in fact, the used buckets in the background were filled with a kind of natural paint for my home decoration.

BTW, the solid black puppy in your avatar is so beautiful and lovely, I'v never seen such type of solid black gsd in China. I DO love it!

Best of wishes,
John
