ok so the answer i know is ZERO............i  at least praise people who breed working dogs..........i hope u do to??

by hexe on 16 March 2013 - 01:03

Oh, eddy, you've got me there...<SMH> I haven't produced any dogs for any kind of work, not even for sport competitions, and I'm not likely to do so in the future, either.

Of course, that's because I haven't produced ANY dogs at all, since I don't breed dogs.

My cows are working cows, however, and produce a nice, healthy calf each year which I later sell to someone else who will either finish it out to make steaks and roasts, or who will breed it so they can also produce nice working calves.  And my chickens are dual-purpose working chickens, laying eggs regularly AND performing pest control duties for 9 months out of the year as they stroll around the property.

Eddy... buy a TIEKERHOOK puppy since we know you like and quoted his words of wisdom in another thread and quit whining. You can not police the world Eddy. If someone breeds something you don't like. Don't buy it. Pretty simple....

Eddy. Based on what I've read, your mentality would dictate that my Quarter horses that have been bred to show in barrels, poles, etc. cannot work cows. Not true. They have. Just as gender biased rules have not applied in my working life in construction. I'm a woman. Versatility is the spice of life, without it, life would be predicatable and boring. I find the German Sheherd breed to be very versatile.
