I'm in the camp of people whose eyes start to glaze over when too many titles are listed. I'd just list the highest attained of each venue. I tend to see someone who lists, BH, AD, SchH1, SchH2, SchH3 as a bit of an amateur, right or wrong. Wouldn't "SchH3" suffice? I mean, I know you need a BH and an AD, along with a 1 and a 2 to get a 3...

On the other hand, I can certainly see why someone would want to post every separate title they earned. It just doesn't make sense for SchH titles, imo.

AKC OB titles are listed using only the "highest" title earned in each venue. A dog with a UD would not be listed in the AKC records or in a show catalog as CD, CDX, UD. it would be just  a UD,  counted as one title, not 3. Same for rally, tracking, agility, all of which require 3 qualifying scores under 2 different judges to earn a title. So actually a dog that earns a UD has earned 9 qualiifying scores in 3 different classes...novice, open, utility. Agility is a bit more complicated, there are many different classes, but only the highest title achieved in each class is the one used.

I've read varying opinions on whether or not an AD and a BH are titles. Everyone knows that if a dog has an IPO it first had to achieve a BH and an AD the same as we know that every UD also first had to earn a CD and a CDX.

I second what VKGSD says about Andy Maly Vah.

{FYI, you don't need an AD to earn an IPO (or Sch) title}

Yes, AD only for the breed survey, not for trials.

You don't need an AD? I thought you did.

As Susie said, only for a breed survey.

My ASL has a BH and an AD. I did it for the fun of it and to see if she could do it. Of course she will never be breed surveyed Cry Smile

For working titles, I'm pretty sure Andy Maly Vah was right up there at the top for "most titles." There wasn't much that dog couldn't or wouldn't  do, and do well.
