Congratulations to Ravi and Juneau upon qualifying for the USA Nationals in November and fulfilling all the requirements as candidates for the Universal Sieger title!!!

This is a major accomplishment in and of itself, representing committment and integrity, dedication and lots and lots of time, energy, effort and funds.

Best Wishes and may the schutzhund gods be smiling on you all in Texas.

It is REALLY nice to see a field, however small, of competitors for the Universal Sieger title.  It is significant that two of the three show line entries are in the hands of non-professional owner-handlers, plus Juneau is HOT.

Again, congratulations, Ravi, and best wishes!!

Congrats!  I had the pleasure of meeting these two this weekend and was very impressed by Juneau!  Ravi and Juneau also took home the high HOT trophy.

Best wishes to a great team!

Best of luck to  Ravi and his wonderful HOT dog, Juneau. Ravi's first dog turned out to be a real winner, didn't he? They truly are a great team !!!

Another female contender. I haven't seen her, but I fell in love with a photo I saw of her a year of so ago. My kind of female GSD!!

Ya know, if we are going to have bitches making a run for the title, shouldn't there be a Universal Sieger AND Siegerine title?  There is always a High Scoring Female/Bitch trophy at the nationals --I know because I am the one usually , if not always, sponsoring it.

Mystree, good for you, I think is very important not to neglect our females :) they are the one doing the most work when bring it the new generation, so I think recognition is important as well. :)

Of course!!  You can breed a mediocre bitch to the BSP winner,  but you will in all probablity just get crud that is advertised as  "____" progeny.    Some of the greatest schutzhund dogs were developed from strong motherlines, despite the fact that the "name" male behind them always seems to get the credit.

I feel so stongly about the importance of the motherlines, that  I chose a puppy, despite the fact that two of my least favorite dogs are behind her  ( dogs I always said I did not want to ever see in a pedigree), because the mother line is so strong and goe back to the "Old Blood" that seems be be behind all the dogs that I most admire.  So, despite Fero and Crok, I have her and I am very pleased with her.  ( And I blame all her obnoxiousness on Crok!!)
